Setup:
  1. Download ptz driver for your specific camera from axis website support section
  2. Default camera, and configure root password
  3. Login to the cameras web interface. When presented with ptz mode setting, select “Uploadable PTZ driver”.
  4. Complete setup of the camera.
  5. Go to the PTZ tab and click on “Choose File” and select the driver. Note: If Ptz tab is not presented, return to step 1.2
  6. Click on “Upload”.
  7. Make sure Select driver to use : Pelco[4.09] and Activate PTZ.
  8. Device Type is “Generic”.
  9. Go down to “System Options” and click on ” Ports & Devices”.
  10. Click on COM port and setup the serial port baud rate etc.
  11. Ensure that the port mode is set to “RS422-2/4 wire”.
  12. Go on Catsite and edit the cameras settings. Enable PTZ and use the on board configuration.
